CASHMERE CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The fiber from the cashmere goat's undercoat is naturally dirt and odor repellent. If the cashmere scarf does take on odours from time to time, these will usually disappear by themselves.

If you have stains or need to wash your scarf, the following rule applies: cashmere loves water!

Can I wash cashmere in the washing machine?

Yes! It is best to wash the scarf in the washing machine on a wool program with wool detergent and cold water. This will preserve the fiber's natural protective layer.

Can I wash cashmere by hand?

Of course you can wash cashmere by hand. It is important to ensure that the scarf is not rubbed against each other, as this can cause the fibers to become matted. Please do not soak it.
The hand wash should be short.

How do I dry my cashmere scarf?

After hand washing, wring out the scarf and lay it on a towel to dry. The wool program in the washing machine has already removed enough water from the scarf, so you can simply lay it on a towel to dry.
Please never put the scarf in the dryer, in the sun or on a warm radiator.

Can I iron my cashmere scarf?

Yes, you can. When ironing on the lowest setting, it is best to place a cloth between the scarf and the iron. This avoids shine on the cashmere and keeps the scarf nice and fluffy.
